out post has been frantically busy over the last few months putting the finishing touches to 'Too Close To The Truth - 31 North 62 East', a contemporary political thriller starring John Rhys Davies, Marina Sirtis and Heather Peace.
out post completed the dialogue and music editing, sound effect design, ADR and 5.1 mix for the feature, which is destined to get it's premier at this years Cannes Film Festival.
The project, the largest out post has worked on in it's short life, saw our Pro Tools HD system get a good workout to the point where it had to be expanded mid project!
The film itself is scheduled to become a JPEG 2000 Digital Cinema release sometime towards the end of 2009.

Squeezing in some studio time between 31 North 62 East, out post managed to complete post production work on a prestigious project for South East Dance and the British Council. out post helped by cleaning up several interviews that had been recorded in less than ideal locations as well as providing a final dub.
Forward Motion brought together 22 films along with interviews and insight into artistic practice and demonstrates the diversity and durability of British screen dance and the influence it’s had throughout the world. The programmes featured well know dance films which most people will be able to identify to the obscure, which provoke discussion and debate.
Forward Motion was a British Council project co-produced with South East Dance, with support from Arts Council England.

We recently created a new radio commercial for The National Homebuilding and Renovating Show, this time held at Birmingham's NEC. The commercials were written by our very own Michael Williams and produced by Rob Speight and broadcast on three commercial stations in and around the Midlands.
Working closely, as ever, with our friends at Meerkat Works (formally MWI South), and the client Centaur Media, out post created a commercial to target those looking to expand or renovate their homes rather than moving in times of economic uncertainty.

And finally, out post recorded more voice overs for Vivid Interactive for continuing educational projects, which it would appear, will stretch across a significant chunk of 2009.
Additionally, out post continues to work with Milan based, Networks SRL, providing Source Connect link ups to their studios in Italy for English language courses. out post plays host to great swathes of Brighton's finest young acting talent who provide the numerous voices for the projects and whom are directed by the guys and girls in Milan.
