OUT POST GOES TO HOLLYWOOD

out post had a very exciting call recently from Gold Circle Films in Los Angeles asking us to complete some ADR work for Kevin Costner's latest movie, The New Daughter.

out post was subsequently visited by actor Noah Taylor (Pirates of the Caribbean, Tomb Raider, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), who plays Professor White in the movie, to record his lines that required ADR work. out post was joined, via Source Connect, by Director Luis Alejandro Berdejo who directed Noah and who was able to listen into the audio being recorded while watching sync'd picture and temp track audio in the remote studio using Source Connect's Remote Transport Sync.

The film, which is in the final stages of Post Production, is yet to have a release date but out post are very happy to notch up our first Hollywood movie credit.

WHEN OUT POST AND RELENTLESS MET... IT WAS MURDER!

out post have been working with Relentless Software, producers of the highly successful Sony Playstation franchise, Buzz!, over the last month or so recording all the voices for their eagerly awaited new game, Blue Toad Murder Files. The game, described as a murder mystery game for the Playstation Network will be released late in 2009.

Working with Relentless on the game has been full of fun, as the script and voice over talent have kept us all smiling. If the sessions are anything to go by the game will will definitely be something to look forward to at the end of the year.

OUT POST'S FRIENDS ELECTRIC

Working with iCrossing, out post recorded and dubbed a short video piece introducing the new Toyota Prius to the world for the Toyota Blog. Working with a rough mix and temp voice supplied by iCrossing, out post polished up the recording quality using our purpose built vocal booth and added a 'Top Gear' feel to the piece! (If we say so ourselves!)

IT'S ART JIM, BUT NOT AS WE KNOW IT.

More documentaries have come into out post towers over the past few weeks, with one of the most beautifully shot being a profile of artist Marco Crivello. Crivello creates amazingly intricate images, similar in look to satellite photography, but with almost random and zen like methods.

out post were asked by Last Bus Video Productions to edit the music, clean up some of the sync sound and dub the piece for DVD release. Commissioned by Four Square Fine Arts, the DVD has already had critical acclaim across the art world (nothing to do with the art of course, it was the sound everyone loved!) and has, according to some sources, been shown in galleries across the world!
