Marketing and Sales Intern
About out post sound:
We are an award winning audio post production and production facility based in Brighton. We have a broad client base including film, television, radio and games producers. We are a small team with a focus on client satisfaction and quality. We already have a broad range of marketing activities in place including websites, twitter, facebook, blogs and an under-utilised CRM system and mailing list.
We are also currently in the process of launching two new arms to the business to compliment both our studio and online sales operations.
Length of internship: 3 - 6 months
Internship Description
You will have the opportunity to:
- Work with both the Managing Director and Business Development Director to develop, update and implement our marketing strategy.
- Work together with the team to develop new leads and become the first point of call for all new business.
- Use and develop innovative uses for our CRM system.
- Become the first point of contact for studio and voice-over artist bookings.
- Develop and implement a marketing strategy for our Punchlight range of studio cue light systems.
- Create press releases and develop relationships with relevant professional audio publications.
- Help utilise the company's websites effectively and develop a unified look and feel across them.
- Assist with the expansion of use of Twitter, Facebook and our blog with the option to write copy for all of them.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a passion for digital media, technology and marketing
- Ideally have some knowledge of professional audio technology, techniques and processes
- Have knowledge and experience of using social media
- Have outstanding communication and time-management skills
- Have the ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment to achieve goals
- Have a strong attention to detail
- Ideally have experience of both Mac and Windows based machines
Be an excellent communicator both on the phone and in person.
Location: Brighton. Salary: Negotiable.
We have ongoing projects that require studio engineers with experience of Pro Tools 8/9 and vocal recording, dialogue editing and mixing. Please send a CV, show reel and covering letter by post to be considered.
