out post sound was recently approached by DMH Stallard, a modern law firm providing legal and planning consultancy advice to business, organisations and individuals, to digitise, edit and convert a recording made to minidisc.

The recording had been made at the London Stock Exchange of an event organised by the company, yet the recording quality left something to be desired. Interference from mobile phones, microphone noise and long pauses meant the audio was not suitable for publishing as a download.

out post captured the audio into Pro Tools, cleaned up some of the background noise, applied equalisation and finally converted over four hours of audio into four seperate downloadable MP3s that the company could distribute electronically.
